COVID-19 TESTING
The Covid-19 testing service is being offered through a range of providers. There are testing services around the country for both anyone in New Zealand and enrolled patients at some General Practices.
COVID-19 VACCINE
Everybody aged 12 and over can now book their Covid-19 vaccine. Parents or guardians who are eligible to book for a vaccination, can also book in a vaccination for any 12 – 15-year olds in their whānau.

The health and safety of our Iwi is important to us. The Tūhoe Essential Services operating at Alert Level 2 are:
- Te Uru Taumatua tari is open, however, if you have a general enquiry, please email us on tari@ngaituhoe.iwi.nz or phone 07 312 9659. If you visit the tari, please expect the appropriate safety measures to be in place.
- The Taneatua and Kawerau Medical Centres are operating with the appropriate safety measures in place. We still encourage phone consults but are seeing patients in the practice. Please contact your General Practice by phone or email.
- The Tribal Authority tari are open.
- Te Tii is still operating with level 2 safety measures in place. Their operating hours are 10.30am-2pm from Tuesday-Saturday.

Call Healthline for health or self-isolation advice. If you are having trouble getting through, you can register for self-isolation online with Healthline.
The symptoms of Covid-19 are:
- a cough
- a high temperature (at least 38°C)
- shortness of breath
If you are feeling stressed, anxious or not coping, it is important you talk to someone.

- Sparklers at Home has resources specifically for supporting tamariki.

Community Safety
To report anything to your local Police, please use the below guide:
- Call triple one (111) when you need an emergency response from Police, Fire or Ambulance
- Use ten five (105) to report things that don't need urgent Police assistance
- Call star triple five (*555) to report road incidents which are urgent but not life-threatening
