The Māori Education Trust 2016 Scholarship Programme is now open and offers scholarships to Māori secondary school and tertiary students who meet the respective scholarships’ criteria.
The Scholarship Programme is made up of the following scholarships:
Secondary
- Rose Hellaby Scholarship
- Tī Maru Māori Trust Secondary Boarding Scholarship.
Undergraduate
- Norman Kirk Memorial Scholarship
- Rose Hellaby Bursaries Scholarship
- Roy Watling Mitchell Bursaries Scholarship
- Tī Maru Māori Trust Scholarship.
Postgraduate
- Queen Elizabeth II Postgraduate Fellowship
- Rose Hellaby Postgraduate Scholarship (hard-copy application)
- Roy Watling Mitchell Prestigious Professions Scholarship
- Tī Maru Māori Trust Prestigious Scholarship.
Certificates, National Certificates and Diplomas:
• Regina Rudland Memorial Scholarship (hard-copy application).
Secondary school students can either apply online or download an application form from our website www.maorieducation.org.nz. Secondary applications and supporting documentation must reach the Māori Education Trust by 4.30 pm, Friday, 26 Hui-tanguru (February) 2016.
Tertiary students are required to apply on-line (unless otherwise indicated.) The Rose Hellaby Postgraduate Scholarship application form can be downloaded from our website www.maorieducation.org.nz. All tertiary applications and supporting documentation must reach the Māori Education Trust by 4.30 pm, Friday, 1 Paenga-whāwhā (April) 2016.
