Hunting permits for Te Urewera no longer valid

Hunting in Te Urewera has been put in hold. Previously, hunters with DOC permits were allowed in Te Urewera but with the recent Tūhoe Treaty settlement, the iconic tribal estate operates under a new set of rules.
