This Matariki, the Tūhoe Tribals are hosting events to celebrate, share knowledge and have fun as whānau, as whārua and as an Iwi. As part of the Matariki Tāpuapua week, the Waikaremoana Tribal is hosting the workshop, 'From the home to the waharoa - A practical tanihana guide'.
Grace Edwards [Ngai Te Rangi] is an embalmer based in Tauranga Moana who works across the Waiariki rohe. At this workshop, she will share with whānau some practical planning steps that whānau can do to prepare for any future tanihana of a loved one.
