Financial assistant (1-year, FIXED TERM)

We require the services of a Financial Assistant while our kaimahi is on maternity leave. This role will focus on providing effective and efficient quality administration support to the Assistant Accountant. This position also maintains the day to day book-keeping and financial relationships with Tribal Authorities, employees, suppliers and customers. An advanced capability of using MS applications and proven experience in accounting systems is essential. Being impeccably well organised, a keen eye for detail and accuracy is also a bonus.

KAIHĒTERI (3 MONTHS, FIXED TERM)

Reporting to the Advisor Standards, you will be the primary mānai that provides manuhiri and whānau alike a friendly and helpful face for Te Urewera within Te Waimana. You will be required to live in and operate from your campsite, maintain grounds and facilities, share relevant information on tracks. Local knowledge and understanding of Te Kawa o Te Urewera is helpful.

FRONT OF HOUSE - MOU MOU KAI CAFE AND GENERAL STORE RUATĀHUNA

To ensure the smooth running of the General Store and cafe, Mou Mou Kai Cafe in Ruatāhuna is seeking a suitable person to join the Front of House team. You will be part of a roster (one to two days a week) with two others, to provide ongoing Front of House service. You will deliver efficient and cheeful service for shop sales, keep the shelves stocked, the store-room tidy, advise on stocking and assist in the cafe. This is a great opportunity for someone with drive and enthusiasm and keen to be part of a great team. Experience in the hospitality industry and food handling will be an advantage but not essential - training will be given. Most importantly you will be willing, cheerful and a team player.
