Tūhoe - Te Uru Taumatua is The New Generation Tūhoe Iwi Authority successfully ratified in August 2011 and built after a 2 year Iwi engagement and development programme. Following the successful appointment of the new Board and CEO, we now wish to bring together the senior Leadership group. The team must innovate inspired design and development of the wholly new Tūhoe – Te Uru Taumatua organisation, there are 3 positions required to establish the team.

Brings energy and strategic realism to the prudent fiscal management of business expenditure and revenue to drive sustainable economic growth and Tribal development for Tūhoe. The Group Manager also has core management responsibility for the delivery of internal support services relating to organisational finances, human resources and business support to enable strategic goals. Group Manager Natural Resources

 

Kai Arataki Onukurani

Can apply active natural resource planning and management aimed at ensuring the sustainability of Te Urewera the homelands of Ngai Tūhoe. The Group Manager will contribute to evolving a Tūhoe approach which enables its natural resources to replenish naturally through the passage of time to ensure their vitality and use for future generations. Ka māia te tuku I tōna ake mōhio mātana ki te whakatakoto mahere, kaupapa ārahi atawhai I te putaiao me ōna taona ki Te Urewera. Will lead the development of purposeful capability and expert infrastructure to deliver on Blueprint 2011 priorities to lift the standard of care between and of Tūhoe people, whanau, hapu and Tribal communities within the Iwi and wherever they may live.
