Baby kiwi survives road ramble

Joseph Kereopa from Ruatoki found the injured five-week-old chick on the roadside near the Fairview Orchard on Saturday.  It had grazes on the back of its neck consistent with being thrown along the road, probably by the turbulence of a passing car, and is now being cared for at Kiwi Encounter...
