Foreword
The Blueprint provides a signature framework designed by Tūhoe for Tūhoe. Never in our life time, has there being a purposeful document that provides hope and destiny for Tūhoe. It provides direction and maps a future upon which Tūhoe can deliberately and meaningfully build a seemingly prosperous future for its people and its future generations.
It refreshes Tūhoe determination for Mana Motuhake and equally promotes the preservation, protection, continuity and prosperity of Tuhoetanga.
The challenge for Tūhoe is their willingness and desire to work together for the betterment of its people. The Blueprint will be a testament to Tuhoe courage and nerve, suffice to say that its courage has been tested already through their endorsement and the establishment of Tūhoe Te Uru Taumatu, together with the appointment of its Governing Board.
While the components of the Blueprint are not cast in stone, Tūhoe now have an opportunity to establish the building blocks necessary to launch a strong platform that will accrue prosperity never before witnessed by Tūhoe.
