Future’s is concerned with strategy, resourcing and planning for Tūhoe longevity. This office must provide a powerhouse of relevant, honest and current information that is directly about Tūhoe. Wisdom bearing capability is gathered in this department allied to Tūhoe research libraries and archives of past strategies and brings consistency to present day resolutions. GIS capability, maintaining a Tūhoe record through statistics and census information will provide useful planning tools. The Future’s department is also about supporting iwi leadership to bring forward decisions that are just and honourable as they are prudent and astute.
